How much does it cost to develop a web site?
It really depends on the website. There isn't a 'one size fits all' answer. Normally your web designer will discuss what you really need in a site and will quote a flat fee for the project. We have some web design price guidelines that will give you a very general idea of the cost involved in building a site.
Do I really need a website?
If you're selling a product or service and want people to buy from you, yes, you need a website.
Do I need to hire a local web designer?
No. Your web designer doesn't have to be in the same place as you. Your communication will be by e-mail, instant messaging, or by phone. It means that you can work with a designer anywhere in the world rather than be limited to someone in your town.
How long will it take to build a website?
How long is a piece of string? It depends on the complexity of your site. It could take anywhere from 1 week to 1 year.
How many pages should a website have?
There's no hard and fast rule about the number of pages a web site should have. It depends on what you need. Could be 1 page, could be thousands of pages.
